Riara Road is a strecth of road from Westlands to Ngong Road located in Lavington which is a high-income suburb northwest of Nairobi, a 30-minutes' drive from city centre, belonging to the Westlands administrative division. The area was established by the French Holy Ghost Fathers and was known as St
Austin's Mission. The suburb's lush lawns and well-maintained gardens stand out. Lavington lies between Westlands and Hurlingham, which are other affluent parts of the capital city.
